Here it is, 2017 CCC event schedule (tentative)

Without further ado here is the “proposed” 2017 event schedule.  Dates/locations subject to change but this is what we’re currently looking at for an event schedule to date.   Currently we have 2 “Learn to Rides”, one for kids in May and another for registered riders/bikes more for newbie off-road riders or those transitioning from pavement to dirt.  We’re also looking to add more learn to ride opportunities if schedules permit.  As always we are always looking for volunteers to take on an existing ride or assist with a new ride.

First up we intend to have a bike clinic.  The clinic will cover basic bike maintenance and setup, everything from how to change a tire in the field to setting up your controls; (clutch, brakes, suspension/sag) to your weight, size, and preference.  We also hope to have a route-sheet clinic; (separate event) to cover all the bases on cutting, loading, reading a route sheet plus useful scroll tips out on the trail.

The snowpack is melting so while winter isn’t over its a good time to start going through your bike(s) and equipment to make sure they are ready for the upcoming riding season.   An email will shortly follow once the schedule is firmed up a bit.

Thanks, president/CCCofVT
