The Main Info

Lucky’s North rides over some amazing Class IV’s and trails through places like Brookfield, Tunbridge and Fairlee. There are a couple tricky and tight sections (not to mention the mud with all this rain), so big bikes are not recommended! Sign up starts at 8AM, rider’s meeting at 8:45 AM, with the first bike out at 9:00 AM, leaving from Lucky’s – you know, that big red building off the interstate on Route 107? This ride is approximately 112 miles, with 2 “gas stops”. Since the first gas station is now closed down, please BRING YOUR GAS CAN WITH GAS, unless your bike can make it 75 miles. The second gas stop is 30 miles after the first gas stop. We will bring your gas cans to the first gas stop (and masking tape to remember who it belongs to).

BBQ LUNCH: Since the North Tunbridge store is closed, y’all get to experience some down home BBQing! Burgers, hot dogs, chips, water and gatorade will be provided for a $6 donation.

This ride is rain or shine; (unless the forecast is miserable), so if it is looking like it will be wet, change those tires because there are quite a bit of slick spots. As always, bring the road legal bike with reasonable exhausts. This ride is route sheeted so bring your route sheet holder as we don’t have a current GPS route available. If you don’t have one, Ray Atwood at Atwood Cycles has them in stock. Please bring your membership card, or sign up online at https://www.cccofvt.org/membership before the ride!

And for real, the bridge is still there! IMG_0338
